P.A.N. was a rock-metal band formed in the city of Volos (Greece-Europe-Planet Earth) in 1992.At the beginning,the members of P.A.N. were 

a punk drummer,Argiris,

a classic rocker,Stavros in rhythm guitar,

Sarakis (an ''Iron Maiden'' fan) in bass guitar and 

Nick (who used to listen to death metal music) in lead guitars and vocals.

P.A.N. begun jamming in the basement of Stavros's house under terrible conditions (missing strings,no microphone,destroyed speakers and extreme heat..) and rehearsing only 3-4 songs.

In the same year,they played live for the first time,in the municipal theater of Nea Ionia,full of people,in a festival with many local groups of Volos. 

Up on the stage (one band before the headliners).women and children run towards the exits when the band started playing “The Alienation” because of Nick’s bray (on purpose!) voice.Some brave men stayed to watch 2 more songs “Raise your bigger finger” and “The dance of fire”.

During the show a string of the guitar of Stavros ''died'' and the pendal of drums disappeared...so Argiris kicked the bass drum with his boot!Finally Nick said “the end complete” meaning the end of this drama but someone thought he would listen to the Obituary’s song with the same name!Headliners (Stains) played almost in an half empty theater.

Unfortunately a second show took place one month later in Anavros(Volos) to start another local open air festival in front of 4 friends and some other unknown faces. In this very hot evening Stavros didn’t want to participate in that circus show,because he believed they weren’t ready!(He didn't have magical powers..no..).However the band played 3 songs “The alienation” “The dance of fire”and an instrumenlal song with no name.No accident happened.

Day by day Sarakis became a self-taught drummer,practising on...air,so Argiris left the band and Stavros took the bass, so P.A.N existed as trio.

In 1993 Sarakis and Stavros joined the (fucking) army and they decided that these songs must be recorded,paying for all the costs of the recording,even with other members.

In February 1994 Nick recruited Spyros (DYING WISH,VALOR) on bass guitar and Fotis, drummer (VORPHALACK,ON THORNS I LAY..) temporarily and they recorded a demo rehearsal (3 initial songs and a new one ANGELS FALL FROM THE BURNING SKY) which sold about 18 copies in all over Greece but it had been said that billions of tapes had been copied!!!The earning money was shared equally.

During the recording Spyros and Fotis were be pressed by Nick not to play very profecionally because Stavros and Sarakis wouldn' t be able to follow them in a live show

Metal Hammer/Heavy Metal magazine wrote “strange band these guys”…

The flame of P.A.N. faded away when rumors said that Nick couldn’t stand the short haircut of Stavros and Sarakis…

P.S.1 Band name idea (from the song “the PAN within” of THE WATERBOYS) and the title of the demo are by Sravros.He also painted the beautiful cover full of colours…

P.S.2 All music is by Nick.All lyrics also written by Nick when he was very young!

P.S.3 One week after Nea Ionia’s parody a Nick’s professor maintained a destructive appearance of a local unknown group in this festival believing Nick played there.Nick apologized that maybe there’s a guy who looks like him, and denied that he is a member of any band,even he can play guitar…
